Our projects

All Acacia projects are individual and bespoke to the client, but they are all made up from this list of quality products and procedures;

Acacia are happy to complete the whole job or work with your own builder.
We work to local building control standards and can provide structural engineers reports and calculations, building control certification and SAPS reports if required.

Acacia conservatories, orangeries, windows and doors are constructed by our craftsmen from the finest hardwood, from sustainable sources and sprayed in a micro-porous paint in the colour of your choice. We always apply the final coat by hand when the installation is complete.

The use of a breathable paint gives the product a premium finish and a long lasting, low maintenance future. The modern range of breathable paints are easy to maintain and have the benefit of looking like a sparkling new building every time it is re-furbished.

We offer a planned refurbishment service if you require.

We work with and fit products from trusted suppliers, who have the same ethos as ourselves; “Quality and service comes first”

The use of traditional or contemporary style mouldings is our trademark and we will be happy to supply you with samples before the work commences

Acacia offer sealed glass units to BS 6206 and BS 5713 throughout as standard, this combined with our moisture drainage system means that they have a manufacturers ten-year guarantee

There is a range of glass options available including;-

  • BS safety glass
  • Various thermal options
  • Self clean roof glass
  • UV solar-reflective roof glass

We are expert in making box gutters, if required, where the building meets the house.

In general we use a traditional style, O-Gee gutter with matching down pipes and hoppers, we generally compliment the gutter with a corniced moulding underneath, this can all be colour coded.

We offer a range of quality aluminium products to secure the glass.
The exterior parts of the roof are made from low-maintenance materials; mainly powder-coated aluminium, this keeps the upkeep of our orangery, conservatory and garden room projects to a minimum. We offer a range of cast aluminium finials with cresting or a more contemporary option.

At Acacia we are experts in the construction of fully glazed conservatory roofs, and partly glazed lantern orangery roofs, including the structural flat elements, which can be finished in traditional lead, EPDM rubber or GRP

Our roof-vents are bespoke made from aluminium, we offer manual openers or a range of electrically operated systems.
